Rotation of CGImage (iPhone/iPad) – Improved

September 18, 2010

The code snippet I linked to in my last post essentially worked for rotating the CGImage, but as the user rotates the image more, the image gets cropped more and more. To stop that problem, I made some VERY slight adjustments, check it out:

  1. Hi Connor,

this peace of code helped me very much doing my fist steps in objective-c 🙂
Can you please give me some advice how to crop the image to its original size (before it was rotated)? I think your very first version of this code did something like this but it had a littel “bug” because my image was scaled after rotating it.

    Thank you very much
    Arno

It is APR 26 2013 and this method still makes my week brighter. Thanks.
